SEATTLE, WA, FEBRUARY 25, 2008: ZINO Society is accepting applications from entrepreneurs who are seeking funding to present at the second annual ZINO Green - Socially Conscious Investment Forum. A $50,000 ZINO Green Investment Fund has been created and will be awarded to the company selected by the participating fund investors.
Eligible companies include companies whose practices, products, or services are contributing to a sustainable society including companies in: smart energy, green tech, cleantech, green building, sustainable transportation, business or consumer products or services that have low impact on the environment and technologies/services that promote positive social change.
Event Date: Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 (Earth Day)
Time: 2-5:30 p.m.
Location: Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle
Application deadline: Friday, April 4, 2008
Application fee: $150 (if you have presented to ZINO Society in the past, your application fee will be waived)
Presentation fee: $550
Format:
C.J. Voss, Attorney, Stoel Rives will moderate a diverse panel including: Kirk Van Alstyne, Managing Partner, Evolution Capital Advisors Jim Hanna, Environmental Affairs, Starbucks, Doug Demers, Director of Corporate Workplace, Callison, Joe Whinney, Founder & CEO, Theo Chocolate, and Todd Ellis, Business Development, Imperium Renewables.
10 presenting companies will each have five minutes for a PowerPoint presentation, and three minutes Q&A. A networking reception will follow.
