Cool Yule Wine Tasting & Tree Lighting Celebration
The November 20th Cool Yule Celebration promises to show a plenitude of Cool Yule wines from around the world, many of which you many want to consider for your own Holiday entertaining! Consider the brilliance of young Spanish winemaker Alvaro Palacios and his beautiful Priorat wine "Les Terrasses". On the more northerly side of the continent, the Veneto region of Northeastern Italy produces what may be the perfect wines for cold winter nights...enjoy the L'Arco Valpolicella from young winemaker Luca Ferrico who also happens to be the vineyard foreman for famed Amarone producer, Giusseppe Quintarelli. It wouldn't be the Holiday season in the Northwest without a nod to Washington wine! Come to the Fairmont on November 20th to preview one of the very newest of the Walla Walla award-winning wines...so new, in fact, that we cannot tell you the name of the particular winery, suffice to say that initial tastes by the lucky few that have previewed this wine are all-ready considering it to be the next Leonetti or Cayuse!!
